That's good for Continental!!!

As far as AA and Birmingham, how many flights did AA operate on the ORD-BHX route? I wonder if any of the other airlines will increase their flights as a result.

Trickijedi-
I believe AA operated the flight daily with a 763. American has done ORD-BHX seasonal for awhile.

American has done ORD-BHX seasonal for awhile.

No they have not, this has been a traditional year-round route. It did not operate winter 2001/2002, but that's it. This route is not returning and they are closing down the BHX station.

I believe the GLA-ORD flight may run for a few weeks more at best. It is seasonal. Does anyone have any idea how the yields and loads have been on AAs ORD-MAN not that BMI is operating that route too. I heard, a while back, that the AA flight was taking a major hit on yields and loads.
Lastly, there has been some specualtion that part of the decision to drop
ORD-BHX was in protest at the UK inflexability in US/UK openskies.

Loads should be reasonable on the MAN route! Taking July as an example, there were 20,000 pax on the route with around 75% loads. If we say bmi carried full loads (242 pax I believe), then the bare minimum AA had 5,000 passengers on the route (something like 40% loads). However, I doubt if BD did have 100% loads!

Yields - I don't know!

Guys,

I do knew that about as for BMI-British Midlands as for nonstop from IAD-MAN & ORD-MAN flight as for the Airbus A330 and see how is they were doing as for nonstop by the load-factors by US flight. So can you please tell us about doing as for the passengers going up with the more flight. Well, thanks!!

Regards,

Scott W.

I believe ScottysAir is partially or completely deaf, so perhaps you should stop and think (or at least check a profile) before jumping in to criticize others in the future. Considering the fact that it's quite easy to understand anyway and that it must be extremely hard to learn perfect English when you can't hear it, I think it was a fine post.

Oh, and if we're on the subject of 'proper language', English is spelled with a capital E, unlike the mistake in your question....

Regards.
