Difference Between A Jet And An Airbus :)?

Mon Oct 14, 2002 5:30 am

I was browsing the homepage of Cirrus Airlines http://www.cirrus-airlines.de
and under the "flight-training" part i came across this one which i find quite amusing.

"Air traffic pilot's licence (A.T.P.L.)"
If you would like to pilot a jet or an Airbus, make your dream your occupation...................

what's the difference between a jet and an Airbus  Confused
Never seen any Airbus with prop's and neither a jet with propellers.
So does anybody have a good answer  Smokin cool

Quite amusing yes! Remember there is a translation issue here so they may have meant to say "a jet such as an Airbus" or something along those lines...

I imagine this was their intention.

Before anyone flames me here I do hold Airbus and other Jet Aircraft with equal high regard, even though I am a Boeing man deep down  Big grin
I used to love the smell of Jet-A in the morning...

I just noticed something perhaps more of an issue. The above mistake is in the section titled "Air Traffic Pilot's Licence" where it should of course be "Air Transport Pilot's Licence"
