AFAIK, these should be charter flights but I cannot comfirm that and it is not in ANZ's schedules. I do not have the time now but u can try to check http://www.oag.com and see if it is there, if not then it is not a scheduel flight.
Did those services to KUL ever operate more than 1 weekly? Why was it stopped not profitable?
I spose that makes sence that NZ3822 was operated by Ansett Australia since they flew there around that time. NZ flew to Seoul with their own aircraft at that time aswell but they also had a code share flight with AN via SYD aswell!
TG992 is right. Air New Zealand operated a 767-200ER to Kuala Lumpur via Singapore on Wednesdays and Saturdays. This service in fact connected with British Airways' service which arrived from London a few hours earlier and I seem to remember Air NZ and BA operated a connecting service through to AKL from LHR at the time with KUL as a stopover choice.
Interestingly, Malaysia Airlines and NZ Tourism are now working together to improve loads on the KUL-AKL run. No mention of Air NZ showing any interest. Suppose we can thank STAR for that - since NZ just uses SQ to provide a feeder service into KUL.
PS - The new MAS advert is fantastic isn't it - at least it updates MAS' image in the media.
