Not surprising after they took over the routes from GO.Thought FR may have expanded at Teeside a bit though

I hope this isnt at the expense of Glasgow which was promised Paris, Barcelona and Prague. No sign of those routes. I am not even sure if there are aircraft based at Glasgow or if they just rotate in from Luton.
Current Glasgow EasyJet/Go routes - Luton, Stansted,East Midlands, Bristol, Amsterdam. Come on we need more international routes , even London gatwick would do as a new route. Build on existing bases like Ryanair have done rather than opening others.

I would suspect BMI Baby or MYT Lite will choose GLA  Big grin
Great news for NCL though, maybe I will be able to fly more often now  Smile

I've already been disrespectful to our friends in Newcastle and it probably wouldn't be cool to alienate our Scottish friends as well (but in mitigation may I point out that I am an Aus of entirely Scottish descent myself). However. Airlines operating in Scotland have always seemed doomed to failure, and every time an airline withdraw (which they inevitably seem to do) the reason they always give is that the yields just are not there. You can fill a plane to or from Scotland but you can't make it pay. (Perhaps cos Scots are TOO DAMN TIGHT?) Highland Express, almost any US carrier you can name, etc. (Caledonian Wings?) I'm exaggerating slightly but let's face it, Scotland is not known as a place to make money for airlines. If I was running an airline, especially a low-cost one, I'd be hesitant to hitch my wagon to our great neughbour to the north.

I have it that easyJet will start services from Glasgow to Madrid and Geneva in the spring. Direct from the mouths of Go cabin crew.

With this alleged increase in pax numbers by 1m per annum......isn't it time to build more airbridges?

With only 1 for Domestic services and 1 for International, surely this gives NCL a bit of a negative iimpression?

Go Glasgow- That sounds promising if EasyJet are planning Madrid and Geneva. Odd destinations however.Barcelona and Paris I would have thought would have been better.
