Aspen Mountain Air

Sat Oct 26, 2002 6:10 am

Does anyone have any information about this airline? I know very little and am interested in learning more. All I know is that the airline shut down and Big Sky took over some of their Essential Air Services out of DFW. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Aspen Mountain Air flew DH8s from DFW-ASP, and they might have had a couple other routes. Towards the end of its existence it entered in a codeshare with AA for services to ASP. Hope that helps a little...

The airline also flew to Bozeman and Aspen from Denver on behalf of Frontier. At the end of its life, while flying for AA, it also flew the DFW-Knoxville route, among one or two others. They flew Dornier 328 aircraft.
