Concorde Flights - Still Only 27R / 09L At Lhr?

Sat Oct 26, 2002 10:17 am

Does anybody know if Concorde flights are still only using the northerly runway at LHR for takeoffs / landings regardless of the active runway? I know that during the summer this was the case, but are the runway repairs still in progress?

All I can say is that, last sunday, Concorde indeed took off from 09L, even though other aircraft were taking off from 09R. And, as all the other aircraft, she also landed on 09L.
