Pacific Air Crash In The Philippines

Fri Nov 01, 2002 3:02 am

Local Commuter Airline Pacificair had another crash today in the Philippines.

See the following link:
Fortunately, no one seems to have been killed.
The aircraft involved is actually a Cessna U206F, built in 1976.

Pacificair is the oldest commuter and charter of the Philippines (founded in 1947) and operates a large fleet of different light aircraft types up to DHC6 - size. Their aircraft can be found at most smaller airfields of the Philippines.
Their attrition of aircraft seems to be 'slightly' above average.

Isn't this like the third crash in the Philippines in a 4-month span (or somewhere around that time)?

What is going on?
Its better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air than be in the air wishing you were on the ground. Fly safe!
