When choosing an airline a lot of things play a role such as memory’s on your last flight

I. How long ago was your most recent flight ?

II. How do you rate last your flight with this airline ?
- great !
- good.
- hmmm …
- disappointing ..

III. Thinking back, what details you remember on this flight that stood out most positively or negative ?

IV. Would the things you just remembered make you select or avoid this airline next time ? (that is if you have a choice … Big grin
- Yes, I would even spend some (well, max. $20) extra to get them again / avoid them !
- Not sure, other things are more important
- I probably won’t remember it at the moment I have to choose ..

I. How long ago was your most recent flight ?

October 27 (JFK-LGB on JetBlue) and October 29 (LGB-OAK-JFK on JetBlue)

II. How do you rate last your flight with this airline ?
- great !
- good.
- hmmm …
- disappointing ..

Great.

III. Thinking back, what details you remember on this flight that stood out most positively or negative ?

Nice leather seats with DirecTV monitors in the seat backs.

IV. Would the things you just remembered make you select or avoid this airline next time ? (that is if you have a choice …

I would definitely take JetBlue on my next trip if possible. I'd consider paying up to 10% more than for another carrier, thanks to the leather seats and DirecTV.

1 -- Most recent flight was last weekend; Oct. 26 UA 1577 SFO-SNA; Oct. 27 UA 1578 SNA-SFO. A319s on both legs.

2 -- Great as usual.

3 -- Ontime, friendly professional crew, and the best thing was I departed and arrived from the UA gates that are only yards from the curb at SFO. And fantastic views of the California coast on the flight home.

4 -- I generally fly UA or AA domestically, nothing happened on this trip that would make me want to shop around.

Hope the presentation goes well.

1. AM CUN-MEX (14th October, 2002)
2. Good
3. I was able to change for a later flight without any extra charge though it officially costs U$9. On board, I was sleeping and f/a did not tried to wake me up to offer me dinner nor anything else.
4. I normally tend to pay a little bit higher to fly AM rather than MX or 6A. However, I have had a lot of problems with the FFP

1. 2 months ago, SQ SIN-AMS-ORD, 30 August 2002.
2. Great
3. Positive: freshly-delivered aircraft, great business class seats, lovely stewardesses, Audio and Video on Demand (AVOD) on a 10.4" PTV, Silver Kris Lounge in SIN. Negative: So-so food, cold service on SIN-AMS leg, minor delays. Interesting fact: the aircraft on this flight, 9V-SVI (a B772ER) had a damaged engine while taking off in CPH a few weeks before.
4. Yes, but probably be flying on the back of the bus this time. I used my mileage to upgrade on this particular leg.

1. UA PHL-SFO-PHL - Aug. 2002

2. First time on United, and I thought it was really great.

3. The meals in coach actually weren't that bad, they showed some good movies, and I had my first experience of Channel 9. The crew and employees were very pleasant as well.

4. I definitely would consider flying on them again!

How long ago: Oct 20th BWI-BOS
The flight was great
The things that stands out the most to me the most are the low fares, and quiet comfortable B717 a/c.
I will absolutely fly this airline again.

When choosing an airline a lot of things play a role such as memory’s on your last flight

I. How long ago was your most recent flight ?

About 13 months ago (1yr 1mths ago)

-----
II. How do you rate last your flight with this airline ?
- great !
- good.
- hmmm …
- disappointing ..

As an enthusiast for aviation, the experience of my flight on a 50 seater airplane was great!  Smile. (Probably because I was an enthusiast that has never been on a regional jet before and interior was very spacious for a 5ft-5in guy like me--see below for more.)
----
III. Thinking back, what details you remember on this flight that stood out most positively or negative?
Positive: Oh my goodness, this one changed my experience towards riding on airplanes:

This stewardess was so funny and was enthusiastic towards her passengers: She first introduced herself, gave us briefing about the details of our flight, then showed us proper in-flight briefing and emergency procedures. Then, before the jet pushes back, she kinda "refreshes" us for the trip by saying:

"Is everybody ready to go to Colorado Springs?"

Yes.

"I can't hear you, is EVERYBODY ready to go to Colorado Springs??"

Yessssssssss!!! (enthusiastic passengers cheering)

She also joked about how we're going to have roast turkey as in-flight lunch on this one hour flight, then telling us that we're only having peanuts and soft-drinks  Big thumbs up.

On our return flight however (6 AM), although another ethnic steward on-board did his normal procedures in a humble manner, I think the cabin of the regional jet deserved to be a little quiet for that flight because it was an early morning winter flight and everyone wanted some shuteye.

IV. Would the things you just remembered make you select or avoid this airline next time ? (that is if you have a choice …
- Yes, I would even spend some (well, max. $20) extra to get them again / avoid them !
- Not sure, other things are more important
- I probably won’t remember it at the moment I have to choose ..
- No, because …

Umn...I would say, between Yes I would and Not sure, other things are more important.

In other words, the answer combined is : Yes I would -- considering if I had the time.

P.S.: I rode on America West Express, Canadair Regional Jet CRJ-200, roundtrip, HP6410 and HP 64??, 1h45min duration, and as for the encounter with the "enthusiastic" stewardess, I think this only happens once in your (flights) lifetime. All other air-hostesses are probably just doing everything as they're told to (which is fine with me too).

1. MAN-SFB (3 weeks holiday) - MAN

2. I would rate it 'good'.

3. Awful food, made me feel sick!  Sad

4. It's my parent's decision who we fly with, but they enjoyed the food!

I. 08/20/02: IBZ-CGN
II. good
III. Only positive: friendly staff, good meal, and a punctual departure.
IV. No, because many other airlines can do this, too. But I would avoid
airlines, which have real problems with the above mentioned points.

good

III. Thinking back, what details you remember on this flight that stood out most positively or negative ?
They were ontime, lots of beverage service, they did not lose my luggage, it was a comfortable flight, all associates seemed pleasant.

IV. Would the things you just remembered make you select or avoid this airline next time ? (that is if you have a choice …

1. October 31, 2002 CDG-AMS KLMC
2. Disappointing;
3. Although the delay of 1 hour was known on forehand, had to report 45 minutes before departure (no info given at check-in nor on the info panel; furthermore crampy seat (Fokker70); transfer passengers were told that if they would run (from A-gate to F-gate) the captain would probably allow them on the connecting flight (how about the luggage?)
4. Yes; I'm flying often KLM and always avoid flights operated by KLM Cityhopper (because of the aircraft and the fact that only 1 piece of luggage is allowed in the cabin); this flight was the only one with an available seat.

1. about 10 weeks ago (NRT-FRA All Nippon Airways)

2. GREAT!

3. Superb inflight services, snacks and drinks set up in the galleys to take away during the flight in between meals, cute flightattendants.
Negative, urly departure time out of NRT (11.35 AM), but so do all other airlines flying direct between Japan and Europe (AF excepted).

4. I did fly between Europe and Japan before on ANA, did it again and will do so again in march of next year. At any cost? When planning so far ahead cost is not an issue.

1- NW DC-9, DTW-CMH in August.

2-Good

3-Very nice flight crew, short duration with no drink service on flight (I expceted that).

4-No, I wouldn't avoid them. I have FF miles & you can't be mad at no drinks (except in plastic containers) on a 15 minute flight. The flight before (MCO-DTW) was excellent, so I'd fly with NW again.

2.hmmmm..

3.Positive; Full meal service

Negative; Shoddy interior, shabby crew

4. PIA are the only good carrier on domestic routes, even flying 747s on the one and half hour flights, so yes I'd choose them again over the competition.

the first flight:good, the second flight:great!

III. Thinking back, what details you remember on this flight that stood out most positively or negative ?

altough we had delays during boarding and take-off(LHR-AMS flt), the crew responded very quickly, so our waiting time would not be too long, thanks to that we departed and arrived on time!!, what I really liked: we even had flight tracking on the LHR-AMS flight!!, never expected something like that on such a short flight...and the crew was very very friendly.....the food was good....only on the AMS-LGW flight they served a sandwich with ham in it, I don't eat pork and cow and my meal wishes are noticed in my frequent flyer account, that was the only very small negative detail of my daytrip....for more information: I will post a trip report tomorrow...

Yes, at this time my experiences with BA shorthaul are nothing but great....and ofcourse, I'm doing it also for some FF miles....I will plan my next London trip with BA somewhere after christmas......

As I have Frequent Flyer points with Qantas will choose them again, there are few alternatives when I fly, the other alternatives are usually not that good and would only fly them if the price is a lot cheaper.
Why fly non stop when you can connect

1: 6 days ago.

2: I thought it was great, but some of the pax did not like it.

3: The best part of the flight was landing and take off in a 40knt wind with gusts up to 53knt
Also good thing was flying at 2000 feest to DNR with a strong wind, nice and bumpy.

4: No, because I work for the airline.

I. How long ago was your most recent flight?

22 September 2002

II. How do you rate last your flight with this airline ?
- great !
- good.
- hmmm ???
- disappointing ..
** GOOD

Great! A regional Australian airline - Regional Express. We got equivalent to business class service which included a [decent] feed. About 9 pax on a Saab 340, just the way I like to travel. Plenty of room, even though I didn't leave my seat - you know what I mean! 'Skimming' across the top of the clouds - I often think of it.

III. Thinking back, what details you remember on this flight that stood out most positively or negative?

Answered in II. Negative? On this flight, nothing comes to mind.

IV. Would the things you just remembered make you select or avoid this airline next time? That is if you have a choice???

- Yes, I would even spend some (well, max. $20) extra to get them again / avoid them!
- Not sure, other things are more important
- I probably won???t remember it at the moment I have to choose ..
- No, because ???

I do have a choice of two other airlines, but I would choose them again. The only thing they have against them is speed - compare it to a 737! But for me I only travel for pleasure not business so I don't mind the extra flying time & you see so much more. Check-in and baggage collection is unbelievably quick and no queues. $$ was better than the competitors as well which made the choice even more attractive, but service was better, which made the whole experience excellent.  Big thumbs up  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

1) Last lfight: Oct 23, MAD- CDG with AF
2) Great
3) I like comfort, service, food, wine, friendliness of staff
4) Yes of course. In the past, AF has been so bad that I was always choosing other airlines.
But in the past 5/6 years, they have improved so much that they are really good today. And I choose them as much as I can

I. How long ago was your most recent flight ?
3-4 months ago

II. How do you rate last your flight with this airline ?
- good.

III. Thinking back, what details you remember on this flight that stood out most positively or negative ?

Positive- FA's constantly going through the aisles checking on everybody's needs, very friendly.
Negative- for a 4 hour flight, picking up your meal in the jetway wasn't enough, although it was pretty good. A meal/large snack in flight would have been great to accompany the constant drink service.
total- All in all, the FA's were outstanding, but the timing of the meal could have been better.

IV. Would the things you just remembered make you select or avoid this airline next time ? (that is if you have a choice …

- Not sure, other things are more important. Parents choose the carrier, but since my parents are FF members and have a lounge membership with this airline and with the airline hubbing at my home airport, odds are I will fly again many more times.

I. How long ago was your most recent flight?
Well I'm going to assume you mean my most recent set of flights, and that would be LIT(Little Rock, AR)-ATL-TYS(Knoxville, TN) and the return, on Delta... I flew LIT-ATL-TYS on October 16, 2002 and TYS-ATL-LIT on October 20, 2002

II. How do you rate last your flight with this airline?
great, considering the state of commercial aviation today... clean planes, professional and friendly crew, etc

III. Thinking back, what details you remember on this flight that stood out most positively or negative?
Well both times I had a delay trying to get out of ATL- the Delta crew was very efficient, kept up posted, and then made up for the time lost by flying the plane at full power. Negative? The MD88s really, really need some IFE.

IV. Would the things you just remembered make you select or avoid this airline next time ? (that is if you have a choice …
I love Delta and the Atlanta hub- I fly them pretty much all the time, except when there's a huge difference in prices b/w them and another airline.

-My last flight was on August 31,2002-2 months ago- SJU- MCO on Spirit.
-Nothing really special about the flight - we didnt get a meal but we got some sort of snack basket which is more than is offered on AA and ATA.
- I would definitely fly Spirit again- my flight with them was on time ,the crew was professional and they were cheap.

I. How long ago was your most recent flight ?

4 weeks (BA DUS-LHR-DUS)

II. How do you rate your laszflight with this airline ?

- good.

III. Thinking back, what details you remember on this flight that stood out most positively or negative ?

positive: internet and phone-check-in for members of frequent flyer program
negative: boarding gate on retrun flight was only indicated 10 minutes before scheduled end of boarding --> had to rush to get on board (but probably this is not the airline's fault)

IV. Would the things you just remembered make you select or avoid this airline next time ? (that is if you have a choice …

My preference normally goes towards another alliance group (Skyteam), but I would fly BA again if they are the only or, by a margin of 50-100 Euro (depending on route length), cheapest offer for my destination.

Glad to have helped you.  Smile

1) AirTran Airways, MCI-LGA and back, about 3 weeks ago.

2) Good.

3) They let me sleep and the ride was smooth enough that I did. And on my outbound, I got bumped to Biz Class.

4) Yes, but I'd look for the best deal.

1) yesterday, i was coming back from MCO-IAD-BRU

2) good

3) I am in economy plus ( 5 more inch legroom) very comfortable

4) United A320 very good, 767 seems a little old , 757 (IAD-MCO ) poor

concourse C D at IAD very very poor , no lights, no views, that seems underground.

Yes FlyATA I Im aware that ATA does offer a snack service on the SJU-MCO route but what I meant was that the snack service I got on Spirit was bigger than the ones I usually receive on AA or ATA (on this particular route). But hey you guys are offering great fares this week -I have a friend coming from Puerto Rico this week to visit and she just paid $195.00 for a roundtrip between SJU and MCO.

September 15th 2002, 7 weeks ago: American Airlines 757: CUN-JFK

II. How do you rate last your flight with this airline ?
- good.

III. Thinking back, what details you remember on this flight that stood out most positively or negative ?
Well, since this was the return flight on the same Airline, I found that the leg getting there was better. The food on this light was OK, but it was a lot better going there. The pilot there wade funny jokes inflight. This pilot read off football scores. Either way this was still a good flight. Lots of Leg Room.

IV. Would the things you just remembered make you select or avoid this airline next time ? (that is if you have a choice …
- Yes, I would even spend some (well, max. $20) extra to get them again. This is also because I collect miles with this airline.
