Nothing wrong with the question, if you don't know something--you ask.

The US euro control is in Herndon VA and it is known at the command center. It use to be known as Flow control but today with the collaborative decision making effort and other efforts it has been upgraded to a state of the art command center, very impressive to visit. It is also known as ARTSCC. If you are interested you can learn a lot by surfing http://www.fly.faa.gov/flyFAA/index.html

There is no direct American equivalent of Eurocontrol.

Eurocontrol is an air navigation safety agency which comprises membership of 31 countries, and aims to develop programmes and strategies to improve the safety and efficiency of air traffic control across the European region.

It is not a pan-European ATC service provider although it does oversee the Maastricht upper area centre covering the upper airspace over the Benelux and parts of Germany. It is also in charge of the Central Flow Management Unit which balances traffic demand within Europe against available route and sector capacity.
