Charter service.. WestJet flies Charters into the US.. We've been doing LAS forsome time now. and now we do POP ZLO (Mazatlan.. I don't know the code for it) etc.

This is not scheduled service, but it's is done through travel agencies... We can squeeze out a couple of extra runs on our planes by sending them out on charters which give WJ a bit more money.

This only reinforces the reliability and range of the 737 NG

Hmm...with a flight number like 907, it's probably a charter flight for a special group or sports team.

That's my guess.

PS. I hope they're not putting a -200 out to pasture.

Ah, the International Fun Place! I spent a lot of time near there as a kid -- I am sure it's a Casino-related charter, as there's no schools/sporting teams large enough to justify a 737 for transport.

I have seen flight tracker almost 3 or 4 times a month to IFP from Calgary. IFP is Laughlin,AZ. The town has many casinos. Westjet was a charter flight to Laughlin.

WJ will retire 2 732's in 2003.....probably the 2 non-Advanced 732's, both of which were built in 1969.

I dumped at the gybe mark in strong winds when I looked up at a Porter Q400 on finals. Can't stop spotting.
