Delta B-767-300ER Emergency Landing,Enroute To JFK

Mon Nov 01, 1999 7:48 am

Shortly after leaving Brussels today a Delta Airlines Boeing 767-332ER made an emergency landing back at Brussels due to engine trouble. Another 767 in one day, to the same place?

How many other minor incidents involving aircraft other than Boeing 767s or other destinations were there yesterday? How many other minor incidents involving aircraft other than Boeing 767s or other destinations happen every day. You can't be selective when making links like that.

This is not a serious or rational way of analysing air safety. It reminds me after the Swissair crash all the emergency landings due to smoke in the cockpit. By the way, it seems no more smoke in the cockpit has been detected...

You wouldn't happen to know the Reg.Nr of the aircraft? It might have something to do with the two other crashed B767's...

Good work injecting logic in what could become an emotional, silly, and couterproductive discussion.
