Real Or Virtual Airlines? (Europe)

Can anyone provide info on the following "airlines", as to whether they are real or hoaxes (a.l.a. BerlinJet).

http://www.lowfarejet.com/ - German

http://www.l-air-holding.com - French - proclaims to be former AeroLyon

http://www.air-scotland.com/ - Scotland's low fare airline?

http://www.express-airways.de - Isn't there already an Express Airways in Germany (partner of Farnair)

L-Air seems to be a real venture. They have already signed a LOI for the lease of the 3 ex-Delsey A330-200 in order to operate to the French oversea provinces. There seems to be a market potential for such flights, since Preussag, the owner of Corsair, has indicated they might pull out of the market for these destinations. With AirLib in deep trouble right now, this would only leave Air France as the sole operator providing vital links to these posessions.
Air Austral of Reunion Island has already stepped into this game by leasing 2 B777. They will start flying between RUN and PAR (CDG or ORY) in June 2003.

Lowfarejet - Is not an airline in juristical sense, because they have not received an operations permit by the German aviation authorities. They are planning to wetlease a Hola Airlines B733 in order to fly from HAJ starting in December 2002. IMO this sounds like another stillborn airline idea.

AirLib Express starts long haul low cost to Guadalupa and Martinica too.
Plus the new Air Austral, I think there will be huge competitions in the French domestic long haul market.

Express Airways is the old name of Farnair Germany. As they have obviously lost their FedEx contract, they try to relaunch as a domestc low cost airline under their old name Express Airways, flying domestically from underserved regional airports such as AGB, BWE or LBC. Plans call for some BAe 146-200, but until now all you see on their website is their busiess-plan with which they try to attract investors. Launch decision before the end of the year for a April 2003 start-up.

I've just ordered a printed business plan from Express Airways, so we'll see how much substance to this idea can be found.
