Sun Nov 17, 2002 9:32 am

Hi everyone,

Just wondered if anyone has any info on what Aerolineas Argentinas Business Class service is like? Friend is planning a SYD-AKL trip in a few weeks and I wanted to check it out?

Speedy replies are very much appreciated.

I understand that their service is "average": not the best, but not the worst. I only flew business class on a 1 hour trip (Buenos Aires-Cordoba), and their service was very proffessional.

Also about Aerolineas, I found an interesting article in "Diario La Nacion", saying that they have finished negotiations with Boeing and airbus, and are planning to acquire 9 NEW aircraft, from the manfacturers. It stated, that plans were originally to lease planes, but that offers were tooooooo good to resist. An announcement was planned to be made in some days.

I don't know about their service but if you visit Aerolineas web site you can find out more.

If you click "Flota" you can look a 3D picture of the Business Class cabin on the A340 (you must have plug in). Also on the A340 profile you have a seat map (Mapa de Asientos). The site is in Spanish only but it says that each seat has a personal TV plus the usual features on business in terms of service.
