Flying Lots Of LCCs In A Few Days

Sat Nov 23, 2002 7:38 am

Just giving everyone a heads up,

I'm giong to do a cross-message board posting of some upcoming trips, comparing a large # of low cost carriers to eachother.

25 Nov I'll be flying Southwest from FLL to TPA, then Frontier to Denver, then Great Lakes to Cheyenne, Wyoming (and returning same day, have a meeting)....

27 Nov I'll be doing my first long haul on Southwest (well for me its a long haul)... FLL-TPA-STL... 2 DEC I'll be flying on Trans States (Am Connex) DEC-STL then WN STL-MCO-FLL....

and lastly..

6 DEC on JETBLUE FLL-JFK and return LGA-ATL-FLL on Air Tran (same day)

I think this will present a unique and varying experience from the eyes of a non-rev, but also from the eyes of a normally very-picky traveler!

I'll try to have this done on 7 Dec when I get back from the Interline Sales meeting (Christmas Party) in NYC...

hopefully it will be a good report to read... i'm also taking some measuring devices to measure the *real* seat pitch from a few angles!!!

I was just shocked, looking at my schedule, at all the LCCs I'll be flying... normally I'm on Frontier or United... so this will be different... :P

that's a chunk of flying!

In regards to the trips, just a lot of meetings with various airlines setting up agreements, etc... hence all the trips... I really can't wait until the NY trip.. its a huge meeting of other airline pass bureau mgrs and sales mgrs... will be fun!
