Southwest Airlines started service Sunday here at Hartford (BDL). Given the latest topics about WN, I decided to check out the action at the gate on their first day here. Granted, I didn't fly them -- yet -- but my experience at the gate was telling:
-- The gates were packed on the first day of operation
-- There was little confusion about the boarding process
-- Employees were having a lot of fun
-- Passengers were smiling
-- Turnarounds were very efficient
-- Flights left right on time
Why can't all airlines be like this?
