Continental Express

Sat Dec 19, 1998 3:18 pm

I was reading a page on the net about the E145
and how Continental is in love with it! I was wondering
if anyone here knows if Continental Express is planning
to expand into the west? I think the E145,135's are beautiful!

They really are beautiful. All days I see the EM-145 from Portugalia here in FAO. I have suggested it to Iainhol to start his airline.

I have seen many EM145s at Newark airport operatinf for Continental Express. CE also operates the ATR 42/72. There are a lot of them at Newark Airport (My home base) and one of Continental's biggest hubs.

I would like to see a 70 or 90 seat ERJ. Those things would be like needles!

I don't have any information about CAL expanding to the west, but you can see your fill of EMB145's at CLE. According to Airways magazine (Nov/Dec 1997), CLE sees the most Continental Express daily departures (B-1900's, Brasilia 120's and EMB 145's). Also nice to see American Eagle using the 145 along with the Fokker.
