I was watching e.t. (entertainment Tonight) last night and they were talking about Gwyenth Palrows new movie "The View from the top" which is about a woman who dreams on becoming a International first class Flight attendant (im guessing) in the 70's
Just wondering if anyone is gonna see it?

It seems interestering. At least they picked Gwyneth  Big grin. That might be the only reason I go see it.

Nice! It's about time they made a movie about F/A's. The subjest can have so many twists, and a lot of people (especially here) will relate. I wonder if the movie will depict the job in a stereotypical manner or a more realistic one. In any case, I'll go see it for sure.

Ok, with a cast like that, it's satirical for sure...

Nice pics too...

Too bad they didn't have her wear a PSA or Southwest Hotpants set with go-go boots. Not too crazy about the gray skirt, but at least there's a movie about stews coming out. Now the only way they can really screw up this movie is by getting someone who is far too young to be a four striper.

Well Dc863,

It's funny you mention this, because it might very well be the contrary... Robert Stack is apparently the captain...  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Hmm if its supposed to be the 1970s will we see AA DC10s or US Airways A330s at the airports?  Smile

I think the movie would be more successful had they picked a male gay flight attendant attmepting to fulfil his dreams.

Just kidding!

At least they didn't pick Sandra Bullock for the part!

It would be interesting to see the response in the cabin when airlines start showing the movie as part of its in-flight entertainment.
Its better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air than be in the air wishing you were on the ground. Fly safe!

Yeah maybe after the movie was aired in the cabin, the passengers might be asking the F/As all these questions about their careers. Big grin

This movie better be realistic in terms of technicalities related to aviation...I'd be seriously disappointed if it wasn't...
