SoCal Airports, Any Problems The Past Few Days?

Thu Nov 28, 2002 5:31 am

Are the high winds creating havoc with flight and runway operations? Diversions, major crosswinds...etc. Any pilots lurking here, we welcome your comments, as well.

I'm not a pilot.. but according to a news report I heard here the other day, there were no major problems with the winds. It said flights werent delayed, or canceled... basically everything running smoothly. They did say that pilots were warning passengers on flights either taking off or landing that it would be very bumpy. Now.. how acurate the news report is/was.. I have no clue... thats just what KCAL 9 had reported.

Not a pilot yet but I noticed that BUR was using 31 for to/l this morningbut switched back to normal by afternoon. Also, LAX had reversed direction this morning.
