SAA 332 With Star Alliance Logo?

Fri Nov 29, 2002 1:29 am

I was looking at the first shoots of the South African 332:

I know it's leased from bmi, but I wonder why the Star logo near the cockpit wasn't covered.
As far as I know SAA is not a Star member.
Any clue?

Maybe they couldn't be bothered to take it off as sometime in the future it will go back to bmi British Midland. Saves a bit of repainting I say.
Anyone can fly, only the best Soar.

Surely it doesn't cost much to paint over the Star Alliance logo so as not to cause confusion, but no big deal...  Smile

That wouldnt be a bad idea for them joining the star alliance afterall the alliance needs a partner from Africa.
