Is Switch A/c To B764 Today?

Sun Dec 08, 2002 3:05 am

I saw flight tracker and I thought it was new upgrade to B764 from Lima to EWR CO 1953. Here it is:

Airline Continental
Flight Number 1953
Departure City (Airport) Lima, Peru (SPIM)
Departure Time 12/07/2002 06:44 AM
Arrival City (Airport) Newark, NY (EWR)
Arrival Time 12/07/2002 01:42 PM
Remaining Flight Time 00:33
Aircraft Type B764
Current Altitude 37,000 feet
Current Groundspeed 562 mph
Flight Status In Flight

I checked OAG flight book. There is showing a Boeing 757 regular daily. I think CO has back up more loading pax to EWR due bad weather snowing on Thursday or Friday. Is this correct or just once swap aircraft?

Thanks,
