FLL Viewing Park - Reopen It - Online Petition

Sun Dec 08, 2002 1:46 pm

This is in addition to sending e-mails to the Broward County Commissioners that are listed in the thread "Need Your Help at FLL" in the Photography forum.

Please help us out by signing the online petition to the commissioners to get the popular public viewing park on the west side of FLL reopened as soon as possible.

Thank you.

What the **F** is a bonsai kitten ? Anyways,I hope the link works again. But,unfortunately,I highly doubt Airport management gives two $hit$ about spotters. They are more concerned with 'security'. As was stated before, anyone who knows FLL knows they come right over 95. It would be a lot faster to get away if someone tried to take out a plane. I don't even like to think about such a horrid event...........

I'll gladly sign it. It's the only place I've ever really been able to sit and enjoy spotting. I would always go when I used to visit my mom down there. And you're right. If you wanted to do something to a plane near there, you could do it right from 95 or anywhere else on that perimeter road.
