Scandinavian (SAS) Boeing 737-600 LN-RRO

Mon Dec 09, 2002 6:53 am

Today I flew with an SAS B737-600 LN-RRO from CPH to ZRH (SK609). I didn't find any pictures on a.net.

When has this acft been delivered to SAS?

I believe this was actually the first 737-600 to be delivered to SAS, and originally carried the registration SE-DNM.

LN-RRO aka "Bernt Viking", serial #28288, was the first 737-600 ever to be produced and was delivered to SAS on the 19 of September, 1998. Its previous reg was SE-DNM.

SE-DNM:

Incidentally, the reason SAS changes its registrations is because the airline is forbidden under Swedish law to undertake sale/leaseback transactions without switching the aircraft's operator. Being a tri-national airline, SAS bypasses the law by taking the aircraft off the Swedish register and bringing it back on either the Danish or Norwegian registries. Your aircraft was switched to the Norwegian one.

As a scandinavian: GET RID OF
737-6/700!!! Sale them or scrap them,
they are awful and full of problems,
rudder and electrical burnout´s.
When SAS is going Airbus anyway:
buy or lease 319/320`s.
This is my view of it.....
Why not leasing them to the Baticstates
as a starter?

Yes, right! Send all your old crap to us! Do you think at all before you write??  Angry

BTW, we don't have to beg for the Scandinavian humanitarian aid. Estonian Air is still making profits (opposite to SAS) and just recently aquired third 735 to its fleet (First 2 were aquired as new ones)
