Flybe Emergency Landing

Fri Dec 13, 2002 12:27 am

Flybe BAe 146 flight BE406 has just made an emergency landing at Belfast City at 1430 GMT. Aparently it lost a large amount of alititude (3000ft) on route and passengers where thrown against the ceiling.

Some 40 odd passengers are reportedly seriously injured.

Wow.

Sounds a lot like Airframe to me.

That's why one should always keep his seat belt fasten during a flight...

Any given reason for the altitude loss ?

4 persons were injured (1 male cabin crew has broken leg, 1 female cabin crew sprained ankle and another crewmember has head injuries). Only one of the 36 passengers was injured.
I used to love the smell of Jet-A in the morning...
