there´s also been an interesting article in this week´s edition of Flight International, i believe this one particular article is also available online.
however, it´s strange to see that they´re thinking of TXL-IAD since some many voices claimed the LH A340 service between these two capitals was pulled due to poor loads in First and Biz class. but there would be no First class on this BBJ/ACJ service, so who knows?
the most surprising is FRA-CLT, imo. what is so special about CLT?
also interesting would be MUC-BLR (bangalore). however, to do so, LH would first need additional traffic rights and as we all know, the Indian authorities are very restrictive. i believe LH will introduce three additional frequencies to BLR in January, i read that on www.finanznachrichten.de (link doesn´t work), which has already astonished since to my best believe, LH is already adding three more flights a week on FRA-BLR which is three more than LH was originally granted.
STR-DTW, since this service is currently exclusively operated by Daimler Chrysler for its employees, i could very well imagine they would be glad to pass this service on to LH since it must cost them quite some money to keep up a small and exclusive airline operation. and afaik, LH itself has already been considering taking over this service
does anyone know how many seats this daimler chrysler ACJ provides? i mean, if it´s just about 30, than LH would have about 18 additional seats to fill up...
