Is Kaupmannahöfn a secondary airport for CPH?

I don't know yet, but I presume they will fly to London Stansted (as most low-cost carriers do).

There is only one International Airport (CPH) in Copenhagen. "Kaupmannahöfn" is the Icelandic name of the city.

Glasgow would seem a good destination head to head with the quite expensive Icelandair

Most likely STN but I wouldn't be surprised to see them at LTN.

ATI has an in-depth article about Iceland Express. This is the former 'Pro' operation which was almost launched earlier this year.

Mmmh. If Go didn't make much money on the Reykjavik route, then it's hard to imagine an Icelandic airline doing much better. (And, if Go had made any money, they'd have offered the route again this summer, which they didn't)

I'm sceptical about the chances of success. But that doesn't mean I won't fly with 'em if they offer Ryanair or Germanwings-alike introductory prices...

Regards

Ikarus
