3 New A319s And New No-frills Division For Volare

The Italian carrier Volare Airlines (VA) have decided to order three A319 with delivery in 2003. These new planes will fly on the schedule network operated in code-sharing with Alitalia.

In the meantime Alitalia will decide if they want to join in the new Volare low-cost division or to start a own division using the charter division Eurofly, Volare Airlines announced that 6 A320s will be operated from the new Volareweb.com the new low cost airline with start up operations from April 2003.
These planes will be based in Milan (likely BGY) and Venice (VCE) and they will start to fly to Spain, France and Germany.
Probably network to be extended to domestic destinations, but this option is correlated with the Alitalia decision.
Rumors confirm Alitalia is ready to buy up 15% of Volare Group.

For this winter season, all the Volare A330/200 will fly with Air Europe flights code. Air Europe will fly also 2 B777/200ER until April.
