TV Commercial At Mohave

Wed Jan 01, 2003 1:29 am

Hi All,

Did anyone of you have seen TV commercial of Chevy or GMC truck taken at Mohave???
There is plenty of MetroJets and US Airways aircrafts and that car is towing some airplane.

It's a Ford commercial right? They are using a truck to move planes. I thought I had seen some old CO ATR's and 737's too. There were a lot o US a/c.

That commercial is so dumb. Like a Ford pick-up could get a DC-3 airborne  Yeah sure

I was just amazed with all the aircrafts stored at that place. They have air to ground shot and that place is simply amazing.

I am reminded of a TV commercial back in the early 'eighties, when Eastern introduced its brand-new 757. The commercial showed several very shabby looking DC-8s in the desert, followed by the silhouette of the sleek new 752 flying off into the sunset.

Hmm no need to see a Ford commercial to look at MHV, we pass by there every time on our trip to LAS. Big grin

I believe the plane that they are pulling is actually a C-46.

Also, isn't that Marana in Arizona where that is shot at rather than Mojave? and yes it is a commercial for the Ford F250

Will this commercial be still there by, let's say, April?

HIywdCatft I thought that this commercial take place at MHV because of large number of MetroJet and US aircrafts. Marana dont have that many of US aircrafts. (I might be wrong because I've never visited any of those two places).
