HKGspotter, it seems every time I am in Hong Kong, everyone is always going nuts over a 727 into CLK. We here in the states have them all the time! Not a big deal to us. So its really no big difference then people in CMH or here in PHX getting excited over a UA 747-400.
Got to see it parked at B29 this evening. I attempted to get a few photos of it. Northwest also had a 747-200 in CMH this afternoon and ATA brought in a couple ATA L-1011's. Hopefully I'll get the photos developed in the coming days.
Inquiring minds want to know: Was the referee that called that 'phantom' pass interference seated in First Class aboard that 744? He should get an honorary OSU degree (and may yet). Before anyone wonders, I was just a neutral observer of Friday's excellent game. I agreed with the vehement analysis on TV: 'BAD CALL!' But, as a BC fan, I absolutely loved seeing the sadness etched across Hurricane Nation. And watching that final play--Dorsey planted on his kiester by that great blitz--was nice. Miami, with all their smugness, is one team that everyone loves to hate. OSU: take a memo & learn from it!
I seem to remember another interference call that wasn't called late in the fourth quarter that would have allowed OSU to run out the clock....but in the end it all evens out, I guess....but as my uncle says "I'd rather be lucky then good"
I was happy to see the Bucks win, just hope the city stays standing now...Jose I wanna be the first one to get those pics!!!
The remainder of the charters will be arriving today. After the game, the city was peaceful with celebrations taking place all over town. Yesterday was much of the same, and a parade running from the campus area to city hall is planned within in the coming weeks.
