Two BMI A321s Damaged.

Mon Jan 06, 2003 7:04 pm

One (G-MIDF) was damaged on 1/4 when the horizontal stab was hit by a de-icing truck, the other (G-MIDH) on 1/5 was hit by an AmbiLift.

A321 is too big for a lot of BMI markets at the moment... Kinda convenient some of them are broken at the moment really!! Big grin

Dont they have several 321s park at East Midlands still?
I'm sure a while ago they had several 321s just sitting at the base @ EMA doing sod all, waiting for travel to pick up a bit. are the parked aicraft still there? and if so, would they not just bring one or two of them to fill the gaps left by the bust-up aircraft?
