China has approved 5 Taiwanese carrier's applications for charter flights from Taiwan to Shanghai during the Chinese New Year.
China Airlines will be the first airline (replacing FAT) to fly Taiwan-Shanghai route.
UNI Air and Transasia Airways will mainly fly Kaohsiung-Shanghai while other 4 (EVA, China Airlines, Mandarin, FAT) will fly Taipei-Shanghai. China Airlines and Mandarin Airlines will make "technical stop" in Hong Kong, the other 4 (EVA, UNI, FAT, Transasia) will stop in Macau.
Transasia Airways has not yet announced the first flight. Other's has been announced.

Despite the date has been set and all approved by China (excludes EVA, UNI, Transasia; former 2 is expected to be approved today), only FAT has sent their applications to Taiwan's CAA for permission to fly to Shanghai.
