Telephony Dispatch Codes

Thu Jan 16, 2003 11:48 am

I think that is what these are called, but I only know a few. I.E. What ATC calls out when addressing a flight... (ATA 662 would be "Amtran 662, climb and maintain... etc.)

Anyone mind posting any that they know? Especially for european airlines that we US spotters might not hear often...

American - (same)
United - (same)
Delta - (same)
Northwest - (same)
Continental - (same)
US Airways - USAir
Southwest - (same)
America West - Cactus
ATA - AmTran (does Chicago Express use Windy City?)

I'm especially curious about AS, FI, FL, B6, SY, SU and well tons of others really. Hope there are some avnerds out there who can help me!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

TzMSP,

C8 does use "WindyCity". YX uses "MidEx" and Skyway uses "SkyX".
