Strange AY MD11 Economy Seating

Sun Jan 19, 2003 7:39 am

I have just browsed throgh the latest edition of Finnairs timetable, and the only visible change from my old one (some years back) is that they now only use one seat layout in their MD11's. And its this layout that i find quite strange, and that I hope some of you may light up for me.

The first 9 rows of Y-class (between door 2 and 3) is aranged in 3-4-2, while the rest of the seats (door 3 and back) is "normal" 2-5-2.
Most strange, if not a printing error, is that row 27-30 on the right side only consist of two seat rows, while the middle and left part have 4 row. This means that 4 y- seats (two rows with 2 seats) got better legroom than Biz class. Very strange
