Play The British Airways Flight Simulation Game

Thu Jan 23, 2003 6:15 am

Here's a little light relief from BA!

There is a cool and easy to download flight simulation game at:

http://www.britishairwaysjobs.com/cc/pilots/index.jsp

Look on the left hand side of the page and click on "Become A Virtual Pilot"

You need Shockwave installed to play it, but you can download that from the site.

 Smile

Enjoy!

p.s. I am hopeless at at...so huge round of applause to anyone that can actually land the plane!! Apparently you're supposed to get a message like "Congratulations, have you ever considered a career as a pilot with British Airways?".......looks like my feet are permanently on the ground!!!  Smile  Smile

No problem for me. Takes me back to the days of the early Microsoft Flight Sims in the 80's.

If Microsoft was around in the 1950's, this would be Microsoft Flight Simulator 1953, running on the Intel Abacus computer system. I would like to see an NTSB report on any of those who crashed. There's going to be some explaining to do.

I've found a problem with this game - you can't download Microsoft SeatOfThePants 1.0... does anyone have a link for that?

BA 1024, welcome to Westchester County Airport, clear to taxi, park at remote stand, gate 1. Go Kunz! I also noticed you can fly right through the billboard and "Airport" Terminal.

I just managed to land the BA Flight Sim at the first attempt. After a bottle of wine. Does that mean I qualify as a BA Captain?
