Yawn....AirTran January Traffic Up 41%

I know...it's hardly news anymore, but AirTran traffic grew for January 2003 by 41%, on increased capacity of 39.8%, with an increased load factor of 63.4% vs. 62.8% compared to January 2002...

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 3, 2003--AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc., (NYSE:AAI) today reported record traffic results for the month of January 2003.
AirTran Airways' traffic, measured by revenue passenger miles (RPMs), increased by 41.0 percent for the month of January 2003 versus the prior year on 39.8 percent more capacity, measured by available seat miles (ASMs), resulting in a load factor of 63.4 percent, compared to 62.8 percent for January 2002. The airline enplaned a record 813,541 passengers in the month of January 2003, a 27.6 percent increase from January 2002.
