I hope this hasn't been posted yet.
According to Skyliner News, the CEO of VLM, has secured purchase rights for 60 American Airlines Fokker 100s. Now that's a major step for the rather small carrier, which had earlier planned to just buy two or three F70s from Air Littoral. Shows again how chep these planes are at the moment. Maybe the plan to play a part in the lcc business?
In other news, Fokker Services and Rolls Royce are about to introduce a total care programm for the Fokkers out there to better support those soon to become "new" operators like Germania and now probably VLM.
