Taiwan's EVA Airways will be temporarily suspending flights between Taipei and Auckland from March 30. It's Join-venture/code-share partner Air New Zealand will help EVA flying this route.

Currently, EVA/ANZ flies 4 weekly flights on this route. The frequency will become 3 weekly after ANZ took over.

Maximum utilisation of the aircraft has become a major problem for EVA these days, after they received additional slots to Hong Kong, Tokyo, and now Sapporo and Hanoi.

It is believed that EVA will retutn to New Zealand this October, possibly with a new A330-200.
