Engine Type For The ERJ's?

Tue Feb 18, 2003 2:55 pm

Could anybody tell me what engines come with the Embraer ERJ-170, ERJ-175 and ERJ-190? Could you get GE, PW or RR's on them?

I believe the only engine available for the EMB 170-195 is the GE CF34.

The existing ERJs use the RR AE3007 I believe.

Yes, I can confirm what Gigneil said. The ERJ 135, 140, & 145 have the RR/Allison AE-3007, rated around 8,350 lbs of thrust each...while the ERJ 170 & 190 have GE CF34, rated from 14,500 to 18,500 lbs of thrust each. Regards.
