Air Lithuania Opens Flights To Malmo

Air Lithuania, the second largest Lithuanian air company (after Lithuanian Airlines) said it will open flights to Malmo, Sweden, from Palanga International Airport (serving Neringa, Klaipėda and Palanga) and Karmėlava International Airport (serving Kaunas) (second and third largest Lithuanian airports).

Currently Air Lithuania, which focusizes mostly on north european market (Scandinavia and Germany) has routes from Palanga and Kaunas-Karmėlava airports to Hamburg, Billund, Kristianstad, Oslo; in summer routes to Berlin and Moscow are also added from Palanga (Palanga is a resort town). Air Lithuania opperates ATR-42 and Yak-40 planes.

Air Lithuania's website is http://www.airlithuania.lt , although it seems it is long unupdated, since it does not has info about new flight route and flights, which ended in January 29 are still listed on timetable.
