Air India will be increasing the frequency of their BOM-CDG-EWR flights effective March 30 by adding an additional weekly flight.
The new flight will operate on Sundays using Boeing 747-400 aircraft. The flights currently operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Newark flights have been an overwhelming success for Air India, as can be shown by this increase in capacity after less than 3 months of operation.
Air India will now offer over 6000 weekly direct seats between India and the United States - more than all other carriers on the route combined. In addition to 4x weekly EWR flights, the carrier also operates daily services to JFK and 3x weekly services to ORD.
