Delhi To Get A New International Terminal

Sat Mar 08, 2003 5:22 pm

It looks like the government of India is finally about to do something about the Delhi Airport. According to the Times of India and cnn.com (asia) the Delhi Airport will get a whole new international terminal and the current international terminal will be a domestic terminal.

That will be great. Lets see if it will take 20 or 50 years to build.  Yeah sure  Wink/being sarcastic

Also the Mumbai Airport will be getting a face-lift also. Didn't the Mumbai Airport just get a new terminal or some major re-modeling done a few years ago.

Honestly I'll have to say I don't mind the DEL or BOM airports I just hate taking a bus from the international to the domestic terminal and vice-versa.

The renovation work at the old Terminal II-A is already in progress at BOM.

The new terminal was Air India's lovely Terminal II-C, which is the equal of pretty much any airport in the world.

The former Terminal II-B is currently being used as the Hajj terminal, but the Terminal II-A renovations will join those two areas together to form a single terminal for airlines other than Air India.
