Hotpants, In-your-face double-breast, Tiny tops, "Just-Woke-Up" hair style... An airline call "Hooters Air". How professional are their service the in the airline industry? Would you like to be thier customer? Would you like to work for this airline?

Personally, I don't even wanna walk near this airline check-in counter at the airport! I'll only laugh at it~

You can laugh all you want. If you don't want to fly thats fine to but do some research before you bash the airline. This is not a fly by night airline and they have alot of professonial and skilled crewmembers. Yes I work for them and will be working for them for many years to come. One thing you have to understand is that if something is not working, they will improve it this is not set in stone on how this airline will run, it will always be a work in progress.

HKniceguy, would you walk into a HOOTERS Restaurant, and yell Hookers. If you don't plan on flying the airline. Be quiet. You must be in dire need of a hard on if these girls don't turn you on.

BR715-A1-30: First of all, I wouldn't walk into a restaurant called "HOOTERS Restaurant". If you expect the crew onboard to turn you on, why don't you bring your own porno in your baggage? This is not the desire of air travelling in the industry. No wonder airlines inflight service in U S are always far behind airlines from europe, asia and the international ranking.

oh geesh this airline is perfect. first off plent of guys mainly that is, are known for going to the hooters chain. why not expand it to airlines? imagin superbowl they will make a fortune off of that. i think its a good idea personally i wouldnjt fly them because well they rent even near my homestate nonoe the less i would fly swa since they have a good rep. hooters in time will either fail or be another lowcost airline. as for morale......who cares maybe all the immoral people will fly, they would make a good business off of that too Smile

The media only concentrated on the fact that there will be two Hooters Girls on board and slightly or not at all mention that there are also three trained, non-gender specific flight attendants. The Hooters Girls are the only ones to be in Hooters uniforms and are on board to help the 3 flight attendants serve the pax. Also, why not have a scheduled charter serve golfers who go to Myrtle Beach, where you also have 4 Hooters Restaurants.

I'd fly Hooters, they are going to have a couple Hooters waitresses on board as ambassadors in addition to the regular flight attendants.

Yes it would be nice to see some nice young women again in the flight crew, since I didnt grow up in the early 70s when women such as those Southwest stewardesses wore hot pants.

Hooters Inc. bought Pace from Piedmont-Hawthorne in December of last year. Pace will still continue operations as always, but they will also be operating the Hooters flights. So basically Pace won't change except for being owned by Hooters. Pace also operates Vacation Express and Travelspan.

Hope this helps.

Wow that's an intelligent comment right there. Why would you laugh at it? I don't see what's so funny about an airline with higher than normal inflight service, better seats etc. I think Hooters Air is a great idea, who wouldn't want good service and fair prices on an airline (and beautiful girls onboard?). The Sun is some crap tabloid anyways.

Now CanJet, that's some HIGH class right there eh!  Innocent

I would fly this airline...and I really am gay! I'd bet those Hooters girls would love me. I was on a layover in LAX once and this guy talked me into going to eat at Hooters. I was really dreading it, but I actually had a great time. The girls were really nice.

I think its funny how I always end up with all the hot girls all over me while straight guys sit there wondering how I do it.

Here's my secret, boys: I don't want them, so I'm not threatening. I talk to them a bit and they like that. Plus it helps that I'm in the service industry, so I know how to be a good customer.

By the way, don't call those girls hookers! They're just using what God (or a good plastic surgeon) gave them to entertain their customers. Everyone knows Hooters major attraction is good-looking, friendly young ladies. So anyone who would eat at one of their restaurants, or fly their airline, knows what's to be expected. It's not like they're giving out b/j's in the lavs or anything.

Anyway, never forget: There is no romance without finance. So aren't we all just really "hookers" inside. (OK, that made no sense.)

No sorry man, they wear orange jumpsuits (pictured below) around the airport, with the uni's under them. They take them off before boarding, and put them back on after deplaneing. Company policy is they only wear the tank tops and shorts at the restaurant or on board the aircraft. Which, while disappointing, makes good business sense.  Big grin

Having been to Hooter's restaraunts occasionally from back when there was only ONE of them...the original one here in Clearwater FL...I think this is just another smart marketing move on their part...just like the entry into NASCAR, etc....I just wish they had the same level of quality as back then...finding enough "top of the line" staff to support all those locations is not easy!

And now they even will be opening on Cape Cod! The flak they are getting up there is just as bad...

FYI:I did find a few pix on Net of one who does qualify by looks!

I read far enough to come to the understanding that this strand was put out by someone who is out to bash someone else and something he knows little about. Hooters Air is a good idea; a sound company with plenty of professionalism. Any one of you that have followed airline history know that the "Hooters Air" idea is not really new. The original Braniff, PSA and Southwest flight attendants of the 1970s would probably be labeled "hookers" by HKniceguy. C'mon folks! Lets be decent here! The word I have heard is that their service is already better than what you will get at other companies flying out of Atlanta.

If this marketing model sticks up, it will certainly boost new airline opportunities, which can range from hospitality to fashion and general franchising. Unfortunately, aviation history failed to connect the synergies associated, thus generating profits (For example, do you remember MGM Grand Air?). Anyways... My best wishes to Hooters Air! I really hope to seeing them flying high!

Like several others have said, PACE was bought from Piedmont-Hawthorne by Hooters Air Inc. PACE's other contracts (Vacation Express, Travelspan, the various sports teams they do flights for) are unchanged; Hooters Air a/c are flown by PACE pilots, cabin service is done by trained F/As. This is the same operation that Vanguard would have become had Hooters Air Inc been approved by Vanguard's management. Since the Vanguard acquistion fell through, Robert Brook's changed the plans for Hooters Air, instead of being a regularly scheduled airline, Hooters Air would become a "scheduled charter" service, operationing on certain days (this is because PACE operates under the FAR for charter airlines).

Brian,

Are those the only 6 that are flying for Hooters Air or are their more girls? I kow Hooters only have two flights a day to 3 cities, so they don't need much. If its just those 6, well, I will have an interesting conversation with one about Airways magazine. And I hope to get a picture with them.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

"No wonder US is the most self-centered and rude country"

As oppsed to lax Canada? The land of where the horrible, plastic tragicly hip, talentless sexpot Shania Twain comes from(who has now despoiled upstate NY and dresses like a hooter girl), the arrogant Francios Ducros (who uttered the "idiotic" comment while under Chretien's ausoices--argueably one of the most disgusting and horrible things uttered by a politician, such arrogance! ). Perhaps one shouldn't throw stones. Who needs to worry about Iraq, France or Germany when we have an enemy on our own border  Yeah sure...

PS I would fly Hooters Air anyday; aside from the theme with the girls and food, they are a carrier that falls under the auspices of the Federal Aviation authority and has to meet all regulations, so I would have no problem flying them.

I don't think the girls I had for my shoot will be doing the flights. They were from Winston-Salem and Greensboro. As far as I know, the girls from Myrtle and Atlanta can sign up and be drawn from a pool. (Now I'm thinking about Hooters girls in a pool  Big thumbs up)

But if it helps at all, my local Hooters here in Atlanta has the best looking and coolest girls I've ran across, and I consider myself quite a Hooters aficionado.

Except for the six that helped me on my shoot of course.  Big grin

It's just a marketing gimmick. You like it or you don't. Given that it turns off (or offends) half the potential customer base, it seems like a bad idea to me. Then again, I'm just a self-centered American. Viva la difference!

I mentioned this before,

First of all this would be one airline I wouldnt mind paying for inflight meals if they served their great chicken wings and giant 1/2 cheeseburgers.

I understand that there are flight attendants for pax safety that aren't Hooter's girls, have them there to give the safety demo which most airlines do on video anyway and be there in case of a safety concern, but let the ones that bring my food be a Hooters girl.

This is what would make this airline successful to I think...

Serve Hooters meals on the longer flights

Have a place onboard where you can buy souveniers like at Restaurants for T-shirts and callendars... maybe they will now sell Herpa, Schabak etc models of their aircraft too.
