I rode a CRJ from CVG
this past weekend, and I hit my head every time I got up no matter how hard I tried not to.
I also felt very enclosed... and hated not being able to see out the window really.
chose CRJs for their 70+ seat RJ
and ERJ for 50 or below... for obvious reasons, the CRJ70 was much farther along than the EMB 170 at the time they made the choice.
EMBRAER really wants us to believe that the EMB 170 will be roomier than the CRJ70. I hope so.
Trivia fact: At CVG
this weekend, I obviously saw lots of CRJs. The CRJ 100/200 seems to have its APU exhaust on the side of the aircraft under/next to one of the engines. The CRJ70 has it in the tailcone.
