Question About FedEx MD11's

Mon Mar 10, 2003 11:16 am

Hello,

Quick question about the Ex=American MD11's that are now with FedEx. Its nothing new to see them running in AA colours, however how many of them are stll in that scheme? I saw two today, are there more? Also what tail numbers have these colours still?

I know that N597FE and N598FE were put into service with modified AAL livery.

Interesting to see the AA livery with two blue stripes. That was the modification they made to a 747-100 in the 70s when Hollywood needed a fictitious airline for Airport 1975. So, the livery for Columbia Airlines (nice) was the twin blue stripes. So these MD11s are like Columbia Airlines 28 years later.
