Mystery Plane At LGA

Tue Mar 11, 2003 5:50 am

Well, I don't know about a "mystery", but I saw a plane landing the other day that had me wodnering what it was.

The angle was tough, and I wasn't paying too much attention, but it seemed as though there was a white midsize plane (either 737 or A319-21) with very large dark blue letters on the side saying "Florida" or some other "f" word (don't worry, it was more than four letters!).

Anyone? Anyone?

Arg! Sorry. It was "Frontier".

They dont seem to fly into LGA as much anymore, and not with these planes no less.

Yea it was frontier. I saw the exact type of plane depart LGA a couple days ago...

On another note, can anyone check, but did a 727 come into LGA on Saturday around 4:00PM. I was on the East Side, and looked up towards the Hudson and could have sworn I saw a 727 on the approach to the LDA RWY22...
