Tue Mar 18, 2003 9:50 pm

We all know here that AA , Southwest and USAirways have repectively the biggest MD-80/B737/A32X - fleet in the states ,but who leads the pack in Europe? LH with their total of 130+ 737 deliveries? Alitalia at one time had around 90 MD-80- airframes up there correct me if I' m wrong Ryanair ordered a total of 153 737NGs? Well folks, ya know what I mean .  Smokin cool WHO IS IT ?

Alitalia now has 89 MD-82.
If you add the MDs operated by Eurofly, AZ's charter division, until few years ago you reach 94.
Then AZ used to have more than 50 DC9-32.

The Lufthansa 737 fleet is down to about 60 frames now. Not really as many as they used to operate...
Ryanair does have options for at least 125 planes going beyond the 153 firm orders though.
