United plans to remove 21 Boeing Co. (NYSE:BA - News) jets from active service on April 1, including seven 737s, 10 757s and four 777s.  Sad

We all knew it was coming.

Wonder if they'll be removing 772ERs or 772As? My guess is on the latter

I would have assumed that UAL would park the oldest planes first. Use the 777s for the trans-atlantic and trans-pacific and hawaii as well. What about South American routes?

UAL Parking 21 More Aircraft

My guess is that UA will park their complete fleet very soon.

The 757 and 777 came as a shock...I guess they didn't quite get their leasing rates for the 757 down to the $200,000 that they wanted...

I, too, can see the entire fleet gone soon...sad.
