New Hong Kong Airline? CR Airways

A new airline - CR Airways is seeking to commence flying from Hong Kong's Chep Lap Kok airport as an airline flying to Chinese and S.E. Asian destinations.

The airline with a Bombardier CRJ-200 plane with 50 seats fitted can fly 2 900km from HKG.

Hong Kong's CAA expects a decision on whether to let the airline fly in the middle of the year 2003.

The airline operates one helicopter on flights between HKG and MFM (Macau).

They are not new as they have operated their S-76 (B-KCR) for more then a year now. The CRJ's (if they get them) will be from Shandong Airlines.
