Yet Another New Livery - RBA/BI

Wed Mar 26, 2003 11:39 am

It seems like there is a "New Livery Fever" in the air . . . literally!

Royal Brunei Airlines is to unveil her new corporate identity which includes a new livery on her airplanes in the middle of April 2003!

No leak yet on what that would look like . . . but still exciting prospects here.

Hopefully they keep the yellow as a base colour as it is unusual and gives their aircraft a unique look.

I hope they find a way to use the same colours (yellow / black) in a spectacular manner . . . and perhaps also have a more aviation-looking logo. The use of the state crest now is just very patriotic, but cannot be fully used to represent the airline.

Interesting, i guess it will be unvieled on thier 319s.

If you looks @ BIs livery it is based on Bruneis flag.

I hope it doesnt change much, i hope they keep the crest, maybe enlarge it on the tail a bit. and maybe a bit of yellow on the top of the aircraft to match the flag. then add a few waves or something. Hell just get AirOrange to do it  Big thumbs up then itll look great

A very different but nice livery. I think it looks quite good on the 763s looks a bit weird on the 319

Btw. As part of this new image will the current uniforms & cabins get the flick (please say yes, please say yes, please say yes Big grin)
I like work: it fascinates me. I can sit and look at it for hours. Jerome K Jerome

Where did you get this information from?
If this would be the case, the first plane in the new livery could be it's first A319.

Amazing,

Although many of RBA's flights to MNL use the 752's instead off their regular 763ER. but it would be great to see their new colours.
