Volunteer Passengers Needed At YYZ

Volunteer passengers needed

As part of the preparations taking place for the opening of the new Terminal 1 in Autumn 2003, extensive testing is required on the facility to ensure its readiness by opening day.

The GTAA Facility Activation team is seeking the assistance of the general public in the trial stage of the terminal.

The actual trials will begin in June of this year, the exact dates are dependant upon the completion of various components of the facility.

The volunteers will play the role of actual passengers. From entering the terminal to traversing through the departures level and embarking and disembarking, they will perform the tasks typical of passengers once the building is operational.

To register yourself and others that will be joining you, please send an email to airport.volunteers@gtaa.com containing the names of participants, appropriate email address to use for correspondence and a daytime telephone number.

The GTAA thanks all those who wish to participate in the trials and will be in contact via email acknowledging receipt of your interest in participation.

Incase you still can't see it:

Thanks Kris, I was able to fix the problem too, thanks to the help of Awspicious. I might register for this.

I read this notice on the GTAA website a few weeks ago.... But, I failed to alert anyone. My bad :-(
Anyway, yah... They wanna test the terminal. Give it a dry run, if you will. I'll be sending off an e-mail for sure. Hey, perhaps we, the GTAE, can submit a request to participate in the test on behalf of aviation spotters and enthusiasts.  Big thumbs up
