What Is Your Favourite Fancy Colour Scheme?

Fri Nov 26, 1999 9:51 pm

With so many fancy colour schemes now flying around the world on many jets - Which ones do you like or hate? Looking at the majors 1st up:
1/ BA's World planes liveries
2/ Ansett's Olympic B747-300/400, A320 & B737
3/ Qantas Wunala & Nalanji Dreaming - interesting but ???
4/ Continental's new Millenium scheme
5/ Lufthansa Cargo's B747 with clocks?
6/ Finnairs varied MD11's
7/ Northwest's World Plane
8/ JAL's B747's with 'Super Resort Express' & others
9/ ANA's 'Pokemon' & Snoopy-Peanuts
10/ Delta's new 2002 Olympic Logo B757
11/ Air New Zealand's Millenium B737-300 & Rugby B747-400
12/ AmWest's Phoenix Suns/Nevada B757's
13/ SouthWest's California/Nevada/Arizona/Texas state B737-300's
.....The list goes on and on......Which is your favourite & which one looks the most professional?
My choice........I like Ansett's & Delta's current Olympic liveries & some of the BA colour schemes!
Cheers & have a great weekend!

1) Love the AN 747-300 in Olympic colours
2) The SIA 747-400s (SPK and SPL, I think)
3) The Cathay Spirit of HK 747-200
4) The new Pokemon 747-400 (ANA) - with bright blue, towards the front
5) The American 757 in original colours ... mmm!!
6) Wunula Dreaming

And who could forget the Simpsons 737-300 - I know WestPac wasn't a major, but they left their mark!

Yes, I would have to agree - WestPac was certainly revolutionary & innovative when it came to originality, they really paved the way for everyone to follow! I for one really enjoyed their aircraft designs.
Oh & thanks for the reminder about the SQ/CX & the AA 75years livery - great!

Greetings from Florida!
My favourite scheme would have to be the QANTAS "Wunala Dreaming", it truly is marvellous. Very red, but very marvellous.
